In all honesty that programme seems to be a UWE product design in reverse. At UWE you take an idea, develop it and then use electronics if you need it at the end. There it seems to be take electronics, see what you can do with them and then design. Maybe what we need is just a greater understanding of electronics and how they can be applied... a module just focussed on that... mecha-something perhaps?
